Job Summary

This role is for an experienced SMD Technology Engineer in Kölleda, Germany, focusing on the intricate processes of surface-mount and through-hole technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and validating process parameters for various soldering techniques, including reflow, selective, and wave soldering. Key responsibilities include preparing and assembling SMD and THT components, creating and optimizing programs for SMD placement machines (e.g., Fuji, Mimot), and conducting rework soldering. The position requires hands-on experience with solder pastes, stencils, and PCB processing, alongside a solid understanding of mechanics, electronics, and pneumatics. This engineer will also train machine operators, participate in audits, contribute to continuous improvement processes (KVP), and perform minor machine maintenance.
