Job Summary

The Data Engineer Grid Management will be responsible for conceptualizing and advancing robust, scalable data models to support grid management processes, working closely with IT. A key part of the role involves establishing process foundations for automated, current, and traceable provision of grid management data, and developing specifications for the design and operation of the WEMAG grid data lake. This position requires active participation in identifying and eliminating data silos, contributing to a comprehensive data architecture, and ensuring data quality through analysis and collaboration with various departments. The ideal candidate will work with modern data integration and platform tools, document data flows, and visualize data for communication, while also participating in internal and external project groups. This role offers a chance to contribute to the secure and quality-assured power distribution network in West Mecklenburg and parts of Brandenburg and Lower Saxony.
