Job Summary
The University of Bremen is seeking a Technical Assistant for its Institute for Microsensors, Actuators, and Systems (IMSAS). This role involves the technical operation and maintenance of specialized equipment, with a focus on photolithography, wet chemistry, and electroplating. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and refining processes in these areas, participating in research projects by setting up and evaluating experiments, and instructing others on equipment operation. A key aspect of the role is also the creation and maintenance of Quality Management documentation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Microtechnologist, Chemical-Technical Assistant, or Chemical Laboratory Assistant
Experience
- Professional experience in microtechnology (for chemical-technical assistants)
- At least 2.5 years of relevant professional experience in microtechnology (for chemical laboratory assistants)
- Ability to independently execute complex semiconductor processes quickly
