Job Summary
Join a pioneering international and interdisciplinary research team at TWINCORE, a joint institution of the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research and Hannover Medical School, dedicated to advancing an effective prophylactic hepatitis C virus (HCV) vaccine. This Postdoctoral Fellow position focuses on evaluating and refining vaccine candidates, assessing vaccine-induced immunity in vivo, and benchmarking immune profiles against natural HCV clearance. The role involves leveraging cutting-edge tools, including advanced in vitro platforms and humanized mouse models, within a project funded by the German Center for Infection Research (DZIF). This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, translational project that bridges basic science and clinical application, addressing a global health priority.
Required Skills
Education
PhD in Virology, Immunology, or a related field; Degree in Life Sciences, Human Medicine, or Veterinary Medicine
Experience
