Job Summary

Join a high-tech team at Kappa optronics, a leader in vision systems for Defense, Aviation, and Automotive, focusing on safety and innovation. This role involves the development of image signal and data processing for camera systems, including Automotive ECUs and Aviation VDUs. You will be responsible for implementing complex algorithms in VHDL, integrating FPGA IPs for memory control and data transmission (MIPI-CSI2, DDR Memory Controllers), and performing VHDL design simulation and verification with automated testbenches. Debugging with embedded FPGA IP-Cores and utilizing laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers are also key tasks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems, with initial experience as an FPGA designer, including VHDL, simulation, integration, and verification. Experience with timing analysis, high-speed systems, and FPGA toolchains like Vitis Vivado is a plus. This position offers a chance to work in a motivated, agile project team with short decision-making paths and excellent development opportunities, contributing to cutting-edge, safety-critical imaging systems.
