Job Summary

This role involves developing cutting-edge image signal and data processing solutions for high-security vision systems used across Defense, Aviation, and Automotive sectors. The engineer will be responsible for implementing complex algorithms using VHDL, integrating crucial FPGA IP cores for memory control (DDR) and data transfer (MIPI-CSI2), and performing rigorous simulation and verification using automated testbenches (Modelsim, Riviera). Daily tasks include debugging embedded FPGA IP-Cores (SignalTap, ILA), utilizing standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and maintaining code quality through documentation and version control. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems, initial experience in the full FPGA design workflow, and proficiency in timing analysis for high-speed systems.
