Job Summary

The Translational Science Lead will be a key driver in advancing Bayer's oncology portfolio, from early target assessment through life cycle management. This role involves setting strategic direction for global development programs, focusing on precision medicine, patient segmentation, and proof of mechanism, including companion diagnostics strategies. The successful candidate will lead integrated translational sciences activities, establish strategic partnerships with technology providers and key opinion leaders, and guide preclinical evaluation of new oncology assets. They will also be responsible for generating and analyzing translational research and clinical biomarker data to accelerate clinical development and inform critical go/no-go decisions, while fostering effective team behavior and contributing to the evolution of the Translational Science Oncology organization.
