Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the assessment and coordination of technical and organizational measures for information and cybersecurity within a government agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating security documents and concepts based on BSI IT-Grundschutz, and managing projects within the Information Security Management System (ISMS). Key duties include expanding, maintaining, and continuously improving the ISMS, independently taking on ISMS-related projects, and optimizing business processes in the context of ISMS. The position also requires deputizing for the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), preparing decision papers, and assisting with planning and executing awareness campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong affinity for cybersecurity to contribute to a dynamic and evolving field within public administration.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diplom (FH)) in Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in information and cybersecurity (if no specific degree)
  • Experience in project management (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of information and cybersecurity standards/norms (e.g., ISO 27001) (advantageous)
