Job Summary

The German Diabetes Center (DDZ) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Junior Research Group Crosstalk. This role focuses on investigating how exercise-induced myokines, secreted proteins from adipose and skeletal muscle tissues, impact whole-body metabolism and metabolic health. The successful candidate will assess the effects of novel myokines on fat and muscle cell function, uncover their molecular mechanisms, and test their therapeutic potential in mouse models using biochemical, genetic, proteomic, and in vivo methods.
