Job Summary
The Deutsche Bundesbank is seeking a motivated Fullstack Developer to join their DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) team in Frankfurt am Main. This role involves actively shaping digital solutions by developing modern web and mobile applications with a focus on user-friendly, high-performance, and intuitive frontend components. The successful candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to align technical requirements and design user-centric solutions. Key responsibilities include developing secure interfaces to connect applications with internal and external systems, integrating applications into existing system landscapes and hybrid cloud environments, and supporting robust staging concepts. This position offers the opportunity to contribute fullstack expertise at the intersection of traditional IT and DLT, within an environment that encourages experimentation, flat hierarchies, and interdisciplinary collaboration, all while contributing to the creation of innovative and fair digital systems.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or comparable in Computer Science or IT-focused studies, or comparable knowledge from at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in developing modern web and mobile applications
- Backend experience in a fullstack environment using common web technologies and frameworks
- Experience with at least one modern programming language for backend development
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and API development/integration
- Strong knowledge of security aspects (authentication, authorization, encryption) and secure interface development
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and container solutions
- Experience in productive use of public cloud environments
- Experience with UX principles and complex, user-centric applications
- Experience in developing applications in a DLT environment, especially with integration into existing IT systems (advantageous)
- Experience with Web3 technologies like Smart Contracts, Wallets, or Token Standards (advantageous)
- Experience in conducting long-term projects, including communication with stakeholders and partners
