Job Summary

The Deutsche Bundesbank is seeking four Software & Data Engineers to join their team in Frankfurt am Main. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining modern software solutions for the entire statistical process, ensuring reliable data collection, processing, and dissemination. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing requirements, optimizing processes, implementing and testing software, and developing high-performance ETL processes and cloud applications. You will work closely with data and statistics teams, contributing to the digital transformation of foreign trade statistics. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics)

Experience

  • At least two years of professional experience in modern software development (e.g., Java, Python, Scala, C#)
  • At least two years of professional experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks) and statistical systems (e.g., SAS)
  • Initial professional experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is an advantage
