Job Summary

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) School of Life Sciences is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join their Student Mobility Office. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in supporting students throughout their international study and internship experiences, from initial planning and application to the final recognition of their stays abroad. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing administrative processes, maintaining data, providing comprehensive advice to students on various exchange programs, and developing engaging informational materials. You will also be involved in organizing and executing key events like Welcome Days and Info Sessions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an international university environment, utilizing your organizational skills and passion for intercultural exchange to ensure a smooth and service-oriented experience for all students.

Required Skills

Education

Relevant vocational training or a university degree (maximum Bachelor's), ideally in International Education, Administration, or Biosciences.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a university context or science-related organizations
  • Experience in event organization, from planning to execution
  • Experience in budget and participant management (ideally)
  • Experience with international topics and cultures
  • Experience in supporting international students (ideally)
  • Knowledge of university procedures (advantageous)

Additional

  • The position is a full-time, temporary contract for 2 years. The role is generally suitable for part-time work and can potentially be split. Candidates must be available to start as soon as possible. Knowledge of TUMonline and MoveOn is beneficial.
