Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive administration and user support for the Zwickau district's command and control software modules. Key responsibilities include managing user accounts, maintaining master data, and providing technical assistance for various modules like Adaxes, MobiKat (SDP, EFM, Web, Tracking, App), and control center connection servers. The position also entails contributing to the strategic development of the software within expert committees and providing ongoing training and further education for end-users. Additionally, the role supports the implementation and ongoing management of the software for critical operations within the Fire Protection, Rescue Service, and Disaster Control staff unit, including managing breathing apparatus training, district training, and volunteer data. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an IT System Management Clerk or IT Specialist, OR another successfully completed vocational training (minimum 3 years) in Management or Administration with proven qualifications in data processing management or database management.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT system management or administration
  • Professional experience in data processing management or database management
  • Membership in a fire department
  • Qualification as a Squad Leader (Truppführer) or Group Leader (Gruppenführer) in a fire department, or willingness to acquire it

Additional

  • Must possess a Class B driving license and be willing to use a private vehicle for official travel. Must be highly resilient, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, loyalty, discretion, integrity, and persuasiveness. Willingness to apply for and cover the cost of a police clearance certificate. For non-EU applicants, a valid residence permit allowing employment is required. Foreign educational qualifications require a comparability and recognition statement from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB).
