Job Summary

As a Senior Penetration Tester within the Security Operations Center (SOC), you will be instrumental in safeguarding critical infrastructure by planning and executing complex penetration tests on networks and web applications, as well as conducting Red Teaming and security audits. A key part of your role involves analyzing results, generating detailed reports with actionable recommendations, and overseeing external penetration testing engagements. You will also contribute to the team's growth by mentoring junior testers and sharing your expertise. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technology in a professional SOC environment, providing a significant impact on IT security and incident response.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma/FH or equivalent) in IT/IT Security, or a successfully completed vocational training in IT with several years of professional experience, or a comparable qualification with many years of professional experience in the IT environment.

Experience

  • Professional experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking
  • Experience with certifications like OSCP, OSCE, or comparable qualifications
  • Professional experience in the IT environment if not holding a relevant degree

Additional

  • Must be able to pass a security clearance check according to § 9 SÜG. Willingness to participate in on-call duty and work outside regular hours (e.g., weekends) in urgent cases.
