This role involves coordinating and conceptualizing the deployment of cross-functional IT systems and services within the complex IT landscape of the German Pension Insurance (Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund). The System Technology Coordinator will be responsible for the provision, implementation, optimization, and continuous development of these critical systems, including monitoring, error analysis, and resolution. Key responsibilities also include leading or participating in project groups and handling fundamental tasks within the work area. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in IT or equivalent qualifications, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience in coordinating system technology and procedural workflows, specifically involving application systems like ZfA, ZfP, and rvArchiv. Comprehensive knowledge of development tools and programming languages relevant to the field, such as IBM WebSphere and Oracle, is essential. This position requires a high degree of initiative, analytical skills, and a willingness to participate in on-call duty and flexible working hours, making it a demanding yet rewarding opportunity in public sector IT.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma FH) in the IT field or an equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification) or completed vocational training in the IT field.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in coordinating system technology
  • Experience in coordinating procedural workflows and underlying application systems (including organizational specifications)
  • Experience with ZfA and ZfP procedures (zusy, MeFin, KuDi, zvp)
  • Experience with Document Management Systems (rvArchiv)
