Job Summary

This role involves shaping the future of cloud adoption by developing and implementing robust governance policies for cloud services, ensuring compliance with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks. The expert will advise various departments and leadership on the compliant use of cloud technologies, manage compliance and risk, and provide regular reports on incidents and mitigation strategies. A key part of the role is to lead training and awareness initiatives for employees on proper cloud solution usage. This position requires collaboration across departments, including IT Operations, Legal, Data Protection, and Procurement, and interaction with internal and external audit bodies. It's an opportunity to work in a large public sector organization, offering a secure and performant infrastructure, clear cost planning, and efficient, flexible work arrangements.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university education (Bachelor, Diploma), preferably in IT or Law, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Fachwirt), or a completed vocational training in IT with several years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in IT governance within a cloud environment, particularly concerning cloud compliance
  • Experience with regulatory topics in the public sector (e.g., GDPR, BSI, OZG) is desirable
  • Experience in compliance, data protection, and risk management in an IT environment is desirable

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Willingness to undergo and successfully complete a security clearance check according to § 9 SÜG. Willingness for occasional business trips and participation in further training and events outside of Berlin/Würzburg. This is a position susceptible to corruption, requiring particular reliability and integrity.
