Job Summary

This Senior Penetration Tester role is based within the Security Operations Center (SOC) of the German Pension Insurance Federation (DRV Bund), a central service provider for IT and physical security. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing complex penetration tests on networks and web applications, as well as conducting Red Teaming and security audits. A key part of the role involves analyzing results, creating detailed reports with actionable recommendations, and mentoring junior penetration testers. Required Skills

Education

Completed university education (Bachelor/Diploma/FH or equivalent) in IT/IT security, or a successfully completed vocational training in IT with several years of professional experience, or comparable qualification with extensive professional experience in the IT field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking
  • Professional experience in an IT or IT security environment
  • Experience with certifications like OSCP, OSCE, or comparable qualifications is ideal
