Job Summary

Join Deutsche Bahn as a (Junior) Electrical Engineer to drive the energy and mobility transition, focusing on innovative infrastructure solutions for alternative drives and renewable energies. In this role, you will be a key part of a dynamic team, leading projects for energy and renewable generation plants, and developing concepts for alternative transport systems from ideation to implementation. Your day-to-day will involve crafting technical concepts, conducting analyses for non-standard problems, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution of client orders. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology development for e-mobility applications, regenerative energy solutions, and railway energy systems, particularly in EV and bus charging infrastructure, alternative rail vehicle power (battery/H2), and railway photovoltaic systems. You'll need a degree in energy or electrical engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
