Job Summary

This role involves designing and integrating complex IT systems and network architectures for naval vessels. Key responsibilities include overseeing hardware and software development, creating detailed requirements and specifications, and reviewing technical specifications from system suppliers. The successful candidate will support project management, assist with system certifications, and manage system suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, they will be responsible for planning and executing system commissioning and acceptance testing onboard ships. Ideal candidates will possess a technical or scientific degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or mathematics, coupled with initial professional experience in IT infrastructure, complex networks, virtualization, QoS, and IT security.
