Job Summary

This role involves the crucial commissioning of protection mechanisms and systems for HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) plants globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting integration tests and functional checks of control technology, including both hardware and software, within a dedicated test center. Key responsibilities also include performing and documenting functional and performance tests, often involving customer acceptance. This position requires a professional who can ensure timely and quality-oriented commissioning, support project leaders in quality, risk, and claim management, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or energy engineering, experience in power supply and plant commissioning, and proficiency in relevant software and high-voltage technology.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in power supply and plant commissioning (ideally)
  • Experience in high-voltage technology and protection systems for HVDC plants
