Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the future of technical education by training the next generation of professionals in the energy and electrical engineering sector in the Erlangen area. The Instructor will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing training content in electrical engineering, covering both technical skills and essential soft skills, delivered both in-person and online. Key responsibilities include mentoring apprentices through projects and exams, evaluating and developing training programs, and managing administrative tasks related to the training operations. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification in an electrical field, preferably a Master Craftsman certification, coupled with several years of industry or training experience. Expertise in power electronics, frequency converters (e.g., SINAMICS G120), transformers, motors, and PLC programming is essential, along with strong pedagogical skills and a passion for working with young adults.

Completed vocational qualification in an electronic field, ideally supplemented by a Master Craftsman (Meister) certification

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the industrial sector or a training environment
  • Practical experience with power electronics, transformers, and frequency converters
