Job Summary
This role involves providing essential first-level IT support, serving as the initial point of contact for service requests and incident reports. Key responsibilities include initial error diagnosis, troubleshooting, and escalating complex issues to second-level support. The position also entails procurement of IT hardware, asset management, and user account administration (Linux, Windows, Exchange) including permission management. A strong focus on documentation creation and maintenance is also required. The ideal candidate will possess a background in IT, excellent communication skills, and a strong service-oriented mindset, thriving in a dynamic, international, and technically advanced research environment.
