This role is for an Electrical Engineer to join the Neukölln district office in Berlin, focusing on the planning, execution, and project management of electrical systems for public buildings. The successful candidate will lead projects for new constructions, expansions, and renovations of electrical installations within administrative buildings, schools, libraries, and other community facilities. This position requires hands-on involvement in both planning and construction phases, acting as the client representative. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable degree with a focus on Electrical Engineering; OR State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering (focus: Energy Technology) with proven skills and equivalent experience; OR Qualifications in specific vocational training professions with equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in project leadership, technical planning, and construction management for electrical systems (for Bachelor/Diploma holders)
- Minimum 3.5 years of experience for state-certified technicians in Electrical Engineering (Energy Technology) with proven skills and equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable field for specific vocational training graduates, equivalent to Bachelor/Diploma level

- The position requires working at various locations within the Neukölln district, some only accessible via stairs. Flexibility to work outside regular office hours for emergencies and planned maintenance is required. Willingness to mentor junior staff (apprentices, interns, dual students) is expected if needed. All application documents must be submitted in German. For qualifications obtained outside Germany, an equivalence certificate and certified translation are required.
