Job Summary

The Universitätsstadt Marburg is seeking a dedicated Team Leader for Traffic Monitoring and Digitalization. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for both field operations (traffic police) and internal administrative tasks. Your daily responsibilities will include creating duty rosters, coordinating daily deployments, making strategic decisions in consultation with department leadership, and overseeing the training and equipment of your team. A key aspect of this position involves implementing process management, advancing digitalization initiatives, and managing relevant software within the department. You will also be responsible for the legal assessment of assembly notifications, issuing permits or prohibitions, and coordinating with police authorities. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree as Dipl.-Verwaltungswirt (Public Administration) or Bachelor of Arts (Public Administration), or as Verwaltungsfachwirt (Administrative Specialist). Candidates completing their studies this year are also eligible.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the described tasks
  • Experience in traffic monitoring and general public order law
