Job Summary

This role involves providing essential application support and coordination for the General Sovereign Affairs / Asylum Seeker Benefits Act department within the Gifhorn district administration. The specialist will manage access rights, certificates, and licenses, and oversee the procurement and integration of hardware like federal printing devices and access terminals. Key responsibilities also include setting up new workstations, acting as a liaison between IT and specialist software vendors, and organizing internal staff training. A significant part of the role involves digital transformation initiatives, such as implementing digital files, archiving records, and ensuring compliance with the Online Access Act (OZG) through integration with platforms like OpenKreishaus. Required Skills

Education

• Successful completion of the II. Angestelltenlehrgang (Civil Servant Training Course, focus on Municipal Administration) OR • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration (e.g., Bachelor of Arts – General/Public Administration) OR • Bachelor's/Diploma degree (FH) in Administrative, Legal, or Economic Sciences (especially Business Administration/Economics) OR • A comparable qualification.

Experience

  • • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, e.g., in the field of informatics, if possessing a comparable qualification to the specified degrees.
