Job Summary
This role is for a motivated Functional AIT Engineer to join exciting projects at Airbus Defence and Space. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing thermal vacuum (TVAC) and calibration & characterization (C&C) test campaigns, often in shifts. Key tasks include maintaining and improving test procedures, critically assessing results, and analyzing root causes of events to find pragmatic solutions under time pressure. The role also involves collaborating with project teams to develop optimal test strategies and supporting investigations into non-conformances while adhering to company quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with aerospace experience to contribute to cutting-edge projects.
Required Skills
Education
Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Embedded Systems, or comparable qualification
Experience
- More than two years of professional experience in engineering and aerospace
- Experience in working with space standards (ECSS) and testing (plus)
- Experience working with central checkout systems including SCOS2k databases and CCSDS/Packet Utilization Standard (plus)
- Telecommands and telemetry management (plus)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in shifts over several months
