Job Summary
The City of Krefeld is seeking a Project Coordinator and/or a Grant Management and Financial Processing Officer for its nationwide 'Startchancen' program. This role involves contributing to a significant educational initiative aimed at enhancing educational equity and breaking the link between social background and academic success. The Project Coordinator will lead and strategically control two pillars of the program, focusing on developing project and process plans, communication, and managing investment and opportunity budgets. The Grant Management Officer will be responsible for applying for and managing grants, making financing decisions, and overseeing the financial execution of the program, including developing financial plans and monitoring funding measures. Both roles require self-reliant, responsible, and motivated individuals who can integrate into existing networks while managing a large investment volume over a projected nine-year period.
Required Skills
Education
Completed Bachelor's degree or FH-Diplom in Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, Project Management, or a similar field; OR successful completion as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in) or Administrative Course II; OR eligibility for career path Group 2, first entry-level general administrative service of the state of NRW (VAP2.1).
