Job Summary
The City of Hameln is seeking an IT Specialist to coordinate data protection and information security within its "Digitalization and IT Service" department. This role involves acting as a key contact for data protection, developing and implementing data protection measures, and conducting impact assessments. A significant part of the position focuses on information security, including establishing and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS), creating security and IT emergency concepts, and performing audits. The successful candidate will also conduct user training, report security incidents, and collaborate with various working groups. Required Skills
Education
• Successfully completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration or Data and Process Analysis), IT Assistant (Technical IT), IT System Management Clerk, or IT System Electronics Technician • Alternatively, a successfully completed university degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Computer Science
Experience
- Several years of professional experience
- Experience in establishing, maintaining, and developing an ISMS
- Experience in creating security and IT emergency concepts
- Experience in planning, implementing, reviewing, and optimizing information security
- Experience in conducting audits and creating reports
Languages
Additional
- Proof of certifications (e.g., ISMS Foundation according to ISO IEC 27001, Information Security Consulting, or similar) OR willingness to acquire them
