Job Summary

This role involves ensuring a secure power grid by maintaining and repairing high-voltage switchgear in substations. The Electrical Engineer will perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostic activities on extra-high voltage equipment such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, and surge arresters within air-insulated and gas-insulated switchgear. Key responsibilities include assembly, disassembly, and adjustment tasks, as well as replacing individual components during repair projects. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the energy transition and work with a team dedicated to grid stability across the 50Hertz network area. Regular multi-day business trips with overnight stays are a central part of this dynamic and impactful role, allowing the engineer to apply their expertise where most needed.
