This role involves taking responsibility for the functional testing and quality assurance of protection and control systems within high-voltage substations across the 50Hertz grid area. The position is critical for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the transmission network, including modern systems like High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and grid stabilization plants. Day-to-day tasks include conducting on-site functional tests, performing maintenance and commissioning tests, and working with specialized testing software and interface testers. A significant component of the job involves weekly, multi-day business trips with overnight stays throughout the network. Candidates must have a background in electrical engineering (vocational training, master craftsman, technician, or degree), experience in high-voltage protection or control technology, and strong proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2). Required Skills

Education
