Job Summary

Step into a dynamic role as a PLC Programmer in Mannheim, Germany, where you'll be instrumental in optimizing automation processes, particularly within raw body production. This position involves the commissioning of application-specific hardware, precise sensor and actuator adjustments, and in-depth troubleshooting and programming of PLCs. You'll conduct process checks for system safety, refine the performance of up to 240 robots to enhance quality, availability, and cycle times, and adapt application software. Key responsibilities also include post-processing PLC programs, training manufacturing and maintenance teams on PLC systems, and managing complex automation projects from inception to final acceptance. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in PLC programming, particularly with Siemens Step7 controls, and a solid background in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation technology.
