Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Chemical Engineer to join a partner in the chemical industry located in Ludwigshafen. The position is permanent and involves critical engineering and project management tasks focused on existing plant modifications while maintaining ongoing production. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing plant-related safety concepts, defining protective measures for construction site safety, managing technical tender comparisons, and overseeing plant commissioning and documentation. You will also be responsible for budget and schedule monitoring, creating specific project documentation, and revising process and P&ID flow diagrams. Ideal candidates must hold a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Engineering, possess professional experience in the process industry, and demonstrate proficiency in project management, particularly concerning modifications in operational facilities. Strong German language skills are essential for success in this role.
