Job Summary
This role involves working as a Laboratory Technician specializing in Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) within an accredited pollutant testing laboratory in Hamburg. The primary responsibilities include managing sample intake, preparing and analyzing samples of building materials for pollutant investigations, particularly asbestos, using state-of-the-art SEM-EDX microscopes according to VDI guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a background in laboratory technology or a related scientific field, possess strong German language skills, and demonstrate a meticulous and quality-conscious approach to work. Experience with VDI guidelines for sample preparation and basic knowledge of building materials are advantageous.
