Job Summary

This role involves joining an accredited hazardous substance testing laboratory in Berlin, specializing in fiber and asbestos analysis, as the team expands to a new location. The successful candidate will be responsible for the core analytical processes, including sample registration and identification for hazardous substance investigations on building materials. Key daily tasks include routine sample preparation and pre-treatment following established VDI guidelines, and the analysis of air measurements and material samples using modern Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM-EDX). You will also provide essential support for laboratory management and quality assurance processes. Ideal candidates possess a lab technical background (CTA, BTA, Environmental Technician, or a related scientific degree like Chemistry or Geology) and must be fluent in German.
