Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineering High Voltage Test Engineer at KEMA Labs in Berlin Marzahn, you will be instrumental in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of testing in low, medium, and high voltage fields. This role involves close collaboration with a team of mechanics, ensuring tests adhere to standard specifications (IEC, IEEE, ANSI) for dielectric strength, switching capacity, and current carrying capacity, as well as client-specific requirements. You will also be responsible for calculating and designing test circuits up to 2400 MVA, continuously developing test, control, and measurement technology, and creating test documentation. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering
Experience
- Professional experience in preparing, conducting, and following up on tests in low, medium, and high voltage areas
- Experience in collaborating with and coordinating teams for test execution
- Experience in performing tests according to normative specifications and customer specifications
- Experience in calculating and designing test circuits up to 2400 MVA
- Experience in the conceptual development of test, control, and measurement technology and test procedures
- Experience in creating and processing schedules and rough calculations
- Experience in designing and conceiving test aids, setups, and measurements
- Experience in technical and organizational support during the offer phase of a contract
- Experience in technical and organizational coordination before and during tests
- Experience in technical support for individual customers, groups, and third-party observers, including test documentation creation
