Job Summary

This role as a High Voltage Test Engineer at KEMA Labs, located in Berlin Marzahn, involves crucial work in the energy transition sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include the preparation, execution, and documentation of tests on medium and high voltage equipment, such as high-voltage cable systems up to 400 kV, transformers, and switchgear. The engineer is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to recognized standards like IEC and VDE. Key tasks also involve developing detailed schedules, estimating project effort, designing test aids and measurement setups, and conceptually advancing testing, control, and measurement technologies. The engineer provides technical customer support during the testing phase and collaborates closely with the mechanics team. Key qualifications include a completed degree in Electrical Engineering and a readiness for continuous professional development in electrotechnical norms. Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, SAP, and measurement data software (e.g., LabView) is advantageous. The position offers a permanent contract, a 38-hour work week, and 30 days of annual leave.
