Job Summary

This role involves spearheading the technical and organizational development of the HAWKI platform at OTH Amberg-Weiden, a privacy-compliant, open-source platform providing students and faculty with access to large language models. The specialist will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the server-side infrastructure, selecting and implementing suitable LLM technologies, and integrating the platform with existing university systems. A key aspect of the role is collaborating with various stakeholders, including the data center and data protection department, to develop training formats and documentation. This position offers a unique opportunity to actively shape the integration of generative AI into higher education, working within an interdisciplinary team to make AI effectively usable in teaching and learning.
