Job Summary

As a Senior UNIX Systems Analyst, you will be a key expert within the global UNIX Services Operations Support Team, operating under a 'Follow the Sun' model. Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert operational support for UNIX (Solaris) and Linux (RedHat, SuSE) servers, managing system workarounds, bug fixes, change implementations, and ensuring OS security compliance. You will act as a primary point of contact for critical incidents, advise on UNIX/Linux environments, and serve as a crucial interface to other functional teams like Storage and Databases, as well as UNIX Engineering. This role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, a collaborative team spirit, and the ability to represent UNIX Services across various internal departments. You will also engage with UNIX vendors and IT service providers, contributing to service management for hardware and software.
