Your day-to-day involves designing and implementing a modern data governance audit and assurance framework, including controls, tools, and collaboration mechanisms to monitor and assess data maturity across business domains. You will automate this framework using tools like Data Catalog and Data Quality platforms, making it user-friendly for stakeholders. Responsibilities include creating and refining policies, conducting data maturity assessments, facilitating training to operationalize data management roles, and engaging with stakeholders through governance forums. You will support end-to-end data lifecycle management and collaborate with the wider Data Governance team and business units.
