Job Summary

In this role, you will independently conduct non-GMP development studies in the lab, focusing on the production and optimization of protein-based formulations including microparticles via spray drying, hydrogels, and liquid, solid, and semisolid formulations. You will apply complex analytical methods to characterize proteins and protein formulations, evaluate and present experimental data, and maintain GMP-compliant documentation in English. Additionally, you will support development, method, and optimization projects in a pharmaceutical environment, take on equipment responsibilities, and assist with lab and special tasks. The ideal candidate holds a degree or completed training in chemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, or a related natural science field, with experience in protein biochemistry, pharmaceutical analytics, formulation development, or biopharmaceutical research. Knowledge of analytical methods and ideally experience with spray drying, microparticles, hydrogels, and protein characterization is required. Strong MS Office skills, a quick learning ability, and excellent German and English skills for documentation and international team communication are essential.
