Job Summary

As a Bid Manager for Electronic Interlocking Technology (ESTW) at Siemens Mobility, you will shape the future of rail infrastructure by reviewing customer requirements, assessing technical feasibility, and crafting tailored proposals for ESTW systems, primarily for Deutsche Bahn. Day-to-day, you collaborate with internal technical departments, planning offices, end customers, and internal teams such as engineering, project management, and sales to clarify existing solutions and their applicability. You structure and analyze incoming bid topics, derive required work packages, maintain tools, and drive continuous process improvement. You confidently present your proposals in bid review meetings. The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent with professional training, ideally several years of experience in bidding or technical planning, and familiarity with contracts, especially framework agreements.
