Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and further developing the IT applications used within the social services department. Your day-to-day tasks will involve ensuring applications are optimally adapted to departmental needs, resolving technical issues, and providing support to colleagues. You will act as a key liaison between the department and software vendors, manage user permissions, and create user guides. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social law, practical experience in administrative processes, and proficiency with standard office software. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (FH-Diplom, Bachelor or equivalent) in Public Administration, Administration and Law, or comparable qualifications (e.g., Verwaltungsfachwirt/-in, Angestelltenprüfung II), or an alternatively beneficial field such as Business Law or Business Administration.

Experience

  • Practical experience in administrative processes and workflows
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in using workplace-related PC software (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and common programming languages)
  • Experience in supporting employees with user questions and problems
  • Experience in analyzing and solving technical problems, identifying and fixing software bugs
  • Experience in managing user permissions and maintaining master data
  • Experience in creating instructions, work guidelines, and policies

  • Driver's license Class B. Willingness to use own vehicle for business trips if no company car is available. Ability to work remotely up to 50%.
