Job Summary

This position involves scientific services in research and teaching, focusing on elucidating the structure, organization, and function of bioenergetic machinery in photosynthesis within cyanobacteria. The role requires hands-on experimental work, including affinity labeling of membrane protein complexes, protein purification, sample preparation, and data collection using Cryo-EM single particle analysis. You will also investigate structure-function relationships using genetic methods. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to conduct independent scientific work towards their qualification, contributing to cutting-edge research in a dynamic environment with modern infrastructure. The position is fixed-term for 3 years and part-time (65% of regular working hours).
