Job Summary
Join a dynamic research team at the Philipps-Universität Marburg, focusing on the intricate interactions within ovarian cancer ascites. This postdoctoral position involves investigating the role of innate lymphoid cells (ILC2) in shaping the tumor microenvironment, exploring crosstalk with tumor, stromal, and immune cells. You will conduct advanced experiments including primary cell isolation, co-culture systems, flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques (qPCR, Western Blot), functional assays, and single-cell transcriptomics. The role offers an excellent opportunity for scientific qualification and publication in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment focused on infection, inflammation, and cancer research.
Required Skills
Education
PhD in Immunology, Tumor Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related research field.
Experience
- Completed scientific university studies and PhD in Immunology, Tumor Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related research field.
- Profound knowledge in cellular immunology or tumor biology.
- Experience in culturing and phenotyping primary dendritic cells.
- Practical experience in flow cytometry, cell culture (cell lines, primary tumor cells and immune cells), immunoassays, single-cell RNA sequencing, tumor microenvironment studies, and human primary samples.
- Knowledge in bioinformatics or data analysis tools is advantageous.
