Job Summary
Join Avacon Netz GmbH as a Data Engineer focused on Energy Networks, contributing to the development of modern, sustainable energy grids. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing data integration solutions, data flows, and ETL processes to consolidate data from operational systems for analytical and operational use. This role involves data modeling, analysis, and supporting cloud infrastructure. You will also prepare data for various use cases, develop reporting and analytics solutions (especially with Power BI), and analyze requirements to design IT concepts and architectures. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of data-driven challenges and excellent analytical skills. You will work in a collaborative team environment, contributing to the energy supply of the future.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Experience with data integration and data flow development.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and operating ETL processes.
- Experience with data modeling and analysis.
- Experience with cloud and database infrastructures is beneficial.
- Experience with reporting and analytics solutions, particularly Power BI.
- Experience in analyzing requirements and developing IT concepts/architectures.
