As a Data Engineer for Energy Networks, you will join a team of ten experts at Avacon Netz GmbH to drive the digital transformation of energy infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve designing and implementing complex ETL processes, integrating data flows between IT/OT systems and cloud platforms, and developing scalable data models. You will play a pivotal role in harmonizing data from operational systems to support analytical applications, reporting, and AI solutions. Working closely with specialized departments, you will translate business requirements into robust technical architectures. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in data engineering, computer science, or business informatics
- Experience in designing and operating ETL processes from extraction to cloud deployment
- Experience in data modeling and analyzing complex source structures
- Experience in building and monitoring cloud and database infrastructures
- Experience in requirements analysis and developing data architectures
- Experience working with MS Azure, Power BI, and container technologies
