Job Summary
Join a leading research group at the University Hospital Frankfurt focused on unraveling the molecular underpinnings of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). This role involves investigating how chromatin regulation and nuclear condensates influence leukemic gene expression, particularly in relation to the NPM1c mutation. You will conduct mechanistic experiments using genomic and biochemical approaches, establish and analyze functional models, and contribute to the development of novel therapeutic compounds. Required Skills
Education
PhD or Dr. rer. nat. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field
Experience
- PhD or Dr. rer. nat. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field
- Experience in genomic methods (e.g., Cut&Run, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq)
- Experience in biochemical techniques (e.g., Co-IP, Western Blot)
- Experience in bioinformatic analysis of Next-Generation Sequencing data is advantageous
- Independent and structured work style
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary work
