Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diplom FH) in IT, or completed vocational training in IT, or equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification), or comparable several years of practical experience in the IT sector.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in network security, ideally with a focus on Web Application Firewalls, Cloud Security, and Zero Trust concepts.
  • Experience in developing and implementing network security concepts.
  • Understanding of web applications and their security needs.
  • Experience with current and established firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Cisco Firepower).
  • Proficiency with BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO/IEC 27001 standards.
