Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics or chemistry, excellent knowledge of research policy, and experience with major scientific facilities. Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree in Physics or Chemistry, or equivalent expertise, skills, and experience; PhD desirable.

Experience

  • Experience with natural science fundamental research at large-scale facilities (e.g., CERN, ESRF, FAIR, IceCube, ILL, VLT)
  • Professional experience in research policy and funding landscapes
  • Experience in scientific management and working at the interface between politics, science, and society
  • Experience in developing and implementing digitalization strategies
