As an Environmental Engineer, you will be the local point of contact for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) matters at the Grenzach site. Your role involves coordinating all environmental aspects, including water protection, emissions control, and waste management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. You will act as the official representative for these areas to authorities and site management, assess project approval relevance, and manage permits. Additionally, you will advise departments on compliance, evaluate regulatory changes, prepare reports, and implement digital tools to optimize processes. This position offers the opportunity to grow into technical leadership roles within cross-functional projects and teams.
Required Skills
Education
Completed studies in Environmental Engineering or a comparable degree program
Experience
- Completed studies in Environmental Engineering or a comparable degree program
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Water Law, Emissions Control Law, Waste Law, and Environmental Chemistry
- Strong affinity for industrial environmental protection disciplines
- Experience with electronic waste disposal procedures (eANV)
- Experience working with authorities is desirable
- Proficient in standard IT applications and skilled in implementing new digital tools and developing existing ones
